Jorge met me early at my hotel the morning after I had attended a Columbian wedding. Needless to say, after a cup of Columbian coffee, we set out to explore the Walled City. As I am an architect, I was particularly interested in the architecture and history of the city. Jorge was knowledgeable in all aspects of the city and pointed out many details I would have missed, along with cultural aspects and notes of the culture which abounds there. I was very grateful to have made this choice for a tour.

I loved this tour! I learned a lot about the city, and we all had a great time. This was an informative tour that provided a fascinating overview of the city’s history. I appreciated that the tour was personalized. Jorge got to know us a bit and playfully responded to our questions, really adding to the fun. Also, there was a perfect balance between keeping the tour moving ahead and customizing the tour to accommodate stops we wanted to make along the way. A fun time I think we’ll all remember for years to come.

So Jorge gave us a great tour of El Cerro La Popa, El Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas and the walled city! He was great at explaining everything to our group and was fun as well. If I go back I would use him as a tour guide. He did everything he could to make us comfortable.

of Cartagena. As an architect by trade I was fascinated by the history and unique aspects of the city. Jorge was very informative. As we moved through the three main neighborhoods Jorge made notes of the people and their wonderful culture. I couldn’t have been happier.
