Try out an authentic eco-tourism experience outside of the walled city and come fishing with us in La Boquilla, a community of native fishermen in Cartagena with a delightful culture. This tour is the perfect opportunity for those who enjoy connecting with the nature, local people and sharing their way of life.
This activity begins with a 25-minute ride that will bring us to our destination. Far from the colonial and modern architecture that you have already seen in Cartagena, we will arrive in a modest neighborhood with dirt roads, small houses, and an ambience of incomparable friendliness and joy.
Once we are there, we will get into a handmade colorful canoe and begin our ride through the swamp of Juan Polo, while you see the local ecosystem. Next, we will make a stop for a fishing show, we will learn how to use the fishing nets to catch our lunch.
